For a struggling student, there is little worse than watching your peers excited about learning new things when you are the one behind. Your view of the future becomes clouded by dreadful thoughts of self-condemnation. You lose interest in school because it’s hard and you don’t get it. You see and hear the teacher, but you don’t feel like the teacher sees or hears YOU.
Whether your student needs a little help or a LOT of help, a private tutor just may be the answer! Someone who can sit one-on-one with your student to listen to their academic struggles and together find a way to solve them. With the right mindset, your student can become a successful learner. Sometimes just a quiet atmosphere will do the trick! I offer tutoring for grades 2 – 8. This includes all subjects and also test prep.
Maybe you are a homeschool teacher and you need help teaching a subject that you are not sure about. I offer Homeschool Help in the form of tutoring or whole course instruction for your student using your curriculum or BJU Press.
Need to take a standardized test? I can help with that as well. I am registered with BJU Press Testing & Evaluation as a test administrator and am qualified and approved to administer Stanford/OLSAT® and Iowa Assessments™/CogAT®.
